Panic attacks, which incidentally are much the same as anxiety attack, will come quickly, and with a vengeance. They usually hit you at the worst possible moment. If you have had one I’m sure you pray you don’t get another. Well your prayers could be about to come true.
First & Worst Attack
My wife was hit with a very severe panic attack while she was driving the car. This could have been a disaster if she had crashed, or crashed into someone. After she, and me to be honest, got over the shock we did what everybody does. Went to see our doctor.
We got a standard lesson on the facts. Nothing to worry about, never in any real danger etc etc. Then we got a prescription for beta blockers. I say “we” because even though it was my wife having it, I was feeling like part of it all. If that makes any sense. The drugs would slow her heart rate and stop the onset of the attacks, fingers crossed.
We tried going out in the car again and sure enough, at the same place she felt another attack looming. The upshot was, she had a full blown panic attack. Albeit without the racing heart rate. She described it as worse than normal as she felt both out of control and calm at the same time.
Say No To Drugs
I drove us home and we threw the drugs into the trash. My wife suffered for about nine months not being able to get behind the wheel. She had mixed feelings about it because she didn’t suffer panic attacks when she wasn’t driving.
We couldn’t let this situation go on. Her not being able to drive for fear of having an attack at the wheel. I went on the web and did a bit of digging. We tried a few different things, with mixed results. We never found anything that really worked for long.
We’ll Try Anything Once
I came across yet another “system” that claimed to be a magic bullet. We tried it, and first reports looked good. My wife had long since stopped any drugs so any success was clearly down to the new method. The first time she drove she felt an attacked looming. However she quickly put the method into practice and got through the attack ok.
When we talked after, she said she still had an attack but she managed to keep it at bay. Just knowing she had been able to lower the intensity was a huge boost in itself. She now felt the power within herself to stop the next attack dead. She didn’t quite manage this.
Easy Does It
But she did manage to decrease it effect. She did this every time it happened. She made it less and less every time. In less than a month she was able to know when an attack loomed. And more importantly stop it completely.
If you are a sufferer you can carry on as you are, or try drugs from your doctor. Which may or may not work? Good luck.
Or you could decide to take control of your life and unlock the secret that will halt these anxiety attacks before they start. The key is at this website…
